I know there are some folks on here with an engineering job/interest,
I'm looking for some rigid plastic sheet, 1msq, but thin. 0.5-1mm thickness and credit card rigidity would be ideal
Anyone know what and where I should be searching for a good price?

Anyone Know Much About Rigid Plastic Sheets?

I can ask tomorrow. We share a unit with a plastics company, they know lots about plastic things.

Largely depends on your intended application? Does it need to be easilly cuttable, paintable or impact resistant? Colour, UV / heat resistant? Most acrylic perspex and polycarbonates at that thickness and dimensions are either going to be very brittle or very flexible, I would imagine you would almost be able to double some back on themselves.
You may be better sourcing a piece by buying a suitably sized picture frame rather than buying it from a supplier in sheet form as it is commonly used as a substitute glazing material.
Would carbonfibre sheet be a viable option? Naturally it will cost 8 times the price but for stiffness at that thickness not much else would come close. You could go for a glass backed composite to save on cost. Something like Dibond may also be of use, that has a plastic core within a thin aluminium sandwich for increased rigidity. It's widely used for sign making and is quite easilly workable and versatile.

Hi. It's fit a thin flat set of door cards which will be wrapped.
Want them cheap so no cf, and flex is OK but nothing to much so the wrap won't adhere.
Finally I need to trim it with either a saw or carpet scissors and finish the edges with a sanding block so the aluminium one might be too stiff.
