will that just put out the light or will it get rid if the error code as well?disconnect the battery for at least 1\2 hour or more
My opel dealer told me that it wasn´t possible to erase a error code by disconecting the battery
I will try disconecting battery tomorow and see if it all works

I got the CEL back now
I managed to drive about 170km since resetting ECU before CEL came on again
You have the full milltek system? You shouldn't need to fake the o2 signal, milltek exhausts work ok with the standard o2 sensors. Its very easy to break them though, or even plug them the wrong way around leaveing an open circuit.
Just sounds to me like it needs sorting at the dealers?
Cheers, Paul.

What fault code was it? was it After Cat Lambda sensor or was it catalytic fault?Went to Opel today and got a Tech2 reading of my error code.
The lamda before cat is working. O2 sensor after cat should send a steady liner signal if cat is working properly, my signal is not steady. So the 200 cel racecat is not working as it should be... OR....
That tells if it is the sensor that is broken or it it is the cat that doesnt work... I guess it was the sensor, because you wrote that the fault came back again after a few km.
The sensor doesnt need to be completley broken, it can be "slow" and you will set a faultcode for that.
You can brake the sensor if you have it mounted "downwards" (neråt alltså) and then you will get water in the sensor and when the heter in the sensor starts to heat it up, it can brake down, the china in the sensor will crack.
I think that you shall change sensor, or test a sensor from someone elses car. We might have some extra up here in Trollhättan, I will check that with my speedster frends
