why wouldn't you just add the non return valve in regardless of where the jets are.. seems like a silly thing to leave off.

there is a recess higher up behind the battery ( if the euro cars are the same ) which backs on to the holes in the footwell in our case passenger side

so there might be a option there

Erm maybe if there not needed you wouldn't fit them?.....just a thought 😝. I've probably got the biggest jets of most of us fitted post laminovas and as I've so so far no issues after 1k running mw50.

Put a smaller battery (HJTX30), additionally, it will be 10kg of weight saving at least !

Problem with this it's only got a 10AH and the standard battery 063 is 52AH so the smaller battery is no good for likes of me running loads of gizmos.

A HJTX30 is 30AH and it is a lithium battery, I can say that it will be more efficient than any of Pb battery in any condition. You can't compare Pb and Li-Ion battery with just AH. Try one, and you'll never go again with Pb batteries...

The only downside is the price.

You're putting more load on your alternator not your battery. Battery is only there for cracking which is increased slightly from having a SC but not massively.
