Chill I think deionised will be fine you can always check with aquamist. Deionised water is filtered then deionised to take out unwanted compounds 👍

The other good news is I think the 2.2 litre washer bottle will be plenty big enough for a 40 min session

Another 👍 for deionised water. To make it suitable for use in battery cells the mineral content is removed to prevent build up, which is presumably what the Aquamist system requires.

Would Ro water work? If so you can buy a Ro unit off eBay for £40 and then plumb it into your sink. I use to have one for my fish tank and worked perfect.

RO water is not as pure as it dose without the ion removal stage. For the price of de-ionised I would stick with that. Approx £10 for 25L.

The BMW system comes close to what we're trying to achieve... (note water injection AFTER the chargecooler. ;) )

But interesting is that Bosch now apparently has a water injector in their program, something that should work much better than a simple spray nozzle!! Anybody who can give me a part nr? (groupbuy?)

It's I don't think it's possible to buy these injectors yet but as soon as they start hitting the oem market in larger volumes the availability and price should go down :)
