turned the water injection on at 150 (time) and then put the car under load  just after so you can see how it has bought the temps down

Good stuff!!!!

Really curious what it will bring on your first track day!

The most Intresting thing I thought from this is when I come across a car at 250 and the car went of load ( water injection off ) and the temps went up straight away, then went down again when load was reapplied,
So in thinking turning down the duty cycle by 20% but have it starting earlier ??
I will have a play with this hopefully before the track day

I normally have that behavior with higher IAT's at low load due to low volume of air used by the engine and so the percentage of (HOT!) pcv gas is relatively high. (normal closed pcv system) Also they say charger pumping most of the air around through the bypass can heat up things, but you would think the laminova's could cope with the low volume of hot air...

Frank do you get the extreme changes like in the graph As I did have a similar behaviour before wi but never had the extreme temp differences When weather permits I will change the behaviour of the wi back to back

Do you have a link to what you used as "inline filter"?

It was just a fuel filter it was only to stop anything coming from the catch tank to the inlet ie metal scourers it also gives a indication and creates a restriction if the oil goes past this point

@Chill; so the pcv valve between cil 3 & 4 is blocked off. Than you will have less of these high IAT spikes on closed throttle.

No it's completely open, and wil be part responsible for the spikes Hence the reason the catch tank is in the ear

Ah ok, it was not in your pcv drawing...

But then yes, on closed throttle you will only have a tiny amount of air going through the Laminova cores and so a relative high percentage of the IAT measured is uncooled hot crank gasses sucked in through the pcv orifice. But the volume of this gas/air mix is nothing and the engine sees no load in this phase.

Yes sorry The Pcv orrifice is completely oem and the only differences with the system is the drawing and the way the gasses seperate and cool The good news is it seems to be working well with very little oil getting through to the laminovas I don't think I will end up with the water injection working on these very low loads but as long as I can get the recovery back when on throttle quickly things should be good One other thing I've not mentioned but adding the water injection has not added any power at all at the current levels but has made the power runs very Consistant

The injected water will slow down the burning in the cylinder. So you will add some ignition to raise/hold the power

I did wonder about having to go lower temps on the spark plug again also I will be playing with all this over the current months
