Possible water tank where the washer bottle goes

I've got one that will work if you're interested. If you're still trying to use one tank for both

How many litres is that Tom I ideally want 5 litres

BUT anything over 3 litres will be better than standard one

It's less than that unfortunately. I think it's only 2L.

Probably won't put me in any better position then tom But thanks for asking The choices are Get a bigger tank behind the battery ( which I will join up to current tank ) or get a 4-5 litre washer bottle tank

Wonder if an Impreza sti water spray tank will fit behind the seats?

 

They'll be a much more useful size.

As we have to tackle this same issue in the winter tinkering; I was thinking about a narrow/tall low positioned "surge-tank" that connects to the WI pump and then a 2nd big storage container (higher placed) that gravity feeds this surge tank. This way you should have no issues with air in the WI line due to slosh in the big water tank...

 

Or one baffled big tank in place of the battery and use 1or 2 small race batteries placed flat below there or in that open space behind the footwell...

The other good news is I think the 2.2 litre washer bottle will be plenty big enough for a 40 min session

  Thats good news then as I just ordered a 3L bottle for the boot
