Always inject after any intercooling. The power drop is quite large once the ecu starts retarding. So much in fact that modern traction control often uses ign retard.

Yeppers, ignition retard for TC is great, as it is instantaneous and a "soft cut".

These are used on kit cars a lot and may give more options if relocating the screen wash than a rigid tank. http://www.carbuilde...-washer-bag-kit

Just buy a dedicated bottle chill, thats where you will end up, so do it while car is in bits. Its not really a case of if it will use 2 litres per session, it's will I get surge when 1 litre is gone...... For the record as I have seen it mentioned screen wash is not a substitute any longer, it now has other chemicals in it that will ruin nozzles.

The question is how much of the R&D work you have already done are you going to share As you mentioned money above is there things your not going to share with people trying things out there self Are you selling the info Or are you selling a complete install solution I do respect the fact you have gained good knowledge from already doing it and there no doubt you have done a lot of research It would be nice if you would share any issues you came across and challenges we are all going to face 👍

Biggest issue was the people trying to discredit it.... I have shared info, as I have said many times pm me, every car is diff. I will give guidance regardless of me doing the fitting or diy. But I see people taking everything as given which is not the case. It must be specced per car. You should know this of all people, did I or did I not spec your kit for you and chat at length on where nozzles go etc?

Yes this will end up the case eventually I'm sure but the header tanks are very cheap and want some actual real world results before I decide on what I'm going to get tank wise This is very minor detail IMO and can be changed very easily in the future I have two sets of jets ATM and I will be trying both and getting data from each set I might then change for a other set Also the 3 flow restrictors will be trialled on each of the jets Then I will decide if I feel the need for a meth mixture When Ive done all that I will then decide on what tank to get and where to mount it As its all about what works after trailing as much as possible before settling for my choices I think this will end up like the mapping it can continually be changed and improved

However I am not about to give the info out for someone to take to a garage and say fit this like that. Or worse next thing I know is joe blogs racing is now the prefered fitting centre for WMI. I don't think thats unfair. If I'm lucky after fitting a few kits I might make enough to cover cost of my own, but for what I have been asking for fitting I would be better off going to my real job for a days overtime, I just enjoy this more.

Hasn't there been a lot of speedster lads that have already fitted this and have had it working for some time now as I know ultimate has.

Most get poor results. And now I know why they don't bother sharing. I specced you kit too Luke.....

The results you got from Neil's car speak for them selves It works extremely well with a poor CC system And is the main reason I'm persuing it Yes we have spoke about various things concerning wi And you have made it very clear that one shoe will not fit different feet There is a lot of variables But I can't help thinking your being cautious about your info Maybe down to everyone having different specs etc

And I can't help feeling you want all the info for yourself for diff reasons. I offered all the help you want, not my fault you don't ask.

The only reason I want as much info as I can get is so I come across less issues as possible I share as much as possible info I think you have more info than your letting on I've not pushed you In giving me information as like I said you ben cautious in what your telling us But I'm happy with that, you do what you think I do have one question for you What do you think my reasons are for wanting info, I only have one target and that's to make my car run cooler on track as I do suffer from high temps If I can help others achieve the same I will

Look at the upward trends on track maps, the temp you hit on power runs is not what you need to look at. Even Neils was fine for a couple of laps, then power loss then more then as Neils was extreme case complete limp mode.

As I told you no measurements needed, 90 deg line from each pair of lams, where they intersect or as close as you can as one side falls on the edge of machined surface. You want it in as open space as poss, any spray hitting objects is virtually wasted.

ThanKQ But I don't think you have told me that before or I wouldent of asked Let's hope we can move on from the little spat and misunderstanding And get water injection working well on everyone's car that wants to.

Blimey, there's some properly raised intake temps and saturated cooling systems on here today. This whole thread needs a bit of water injection. :o  In any case, somebody please post a picture of a modified inlet manifold ideally in-situ as I'm really struggling to visualise the available space after Exmantaa posted that pic of the inlet manifold with the side cut off it. Am prepared to sign the Official Secrets Act again, if required. Maybe I'll appeal to Edward Snowden and see if he'd like to leak anything, though even this might be too far for him.
