Price for the v6 is good if you think how much the vx turbo was when released all those years ago. And then look at a gt4 price...At least the price tag will be right when the new carbon comes to market

To be fair, those mentioning price....when you look at the amount some of you (and trust me, I was envious when I had my VX!) have spent on remaps, stage 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s, etc... And then look at how much you won't get back from those modifications...The V6 Exige isn't a bad deal. Especially the second hand market. The new market is brilliant with the current 50/50 deals too.
It's still ridiculous that they have vauxhall indicators from a 2002 Corsa, and old Rover Metro wing mirrors. But at the same time, it's still a damn fine bit of kit

indeed, add in a 3 year warranty, slightly better part supply, a dealer network, pretty decent residuals (it would cost more to run a new c-class for two years - with little creative accounting) and it just about makes sense.

It's a handsome looking car in my eyes and I'd still like to drive one as a comparison. However, having just looked up the stats I'd like to meet one on the road and see how it compares with half the power/weight ratio.

The gearbox will go bleurghhhhhh most likely!! Be interested to hear your comparisons with the Evora James when it's run in.
what's the go with the Evora? Traded, sold, selling?
or did you go out for a drive with the missus and have an epiphany that you need all 3...

Agree, many owners on here could have bought a v6 outright with the amount spent on mods! Would be interesting to know how modified a vx would need to be for similar performance, would imagine 300bhp given the weight difference. To be fair, those mentioning price....when you look at the amount some of you (and trust me, I was envious when I had my VX!) have spent on remaps, stage 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s, etc... My vx and my exige have near identical power to weight ratios. Somehow though the exige feels in a different league.
