£5500 to buy off the insurers seems a lot... if you consider it's book value will be something like £12,000 in full working order.

Best of luck with selling all the VX parts Peter, hopefully you'll get a price you're happy with for everything.

Is it definitley repairable? Not that I don't trust insurance assessors to have the first clue about these cars....

Did the car roll on its roof or just side ?
Totally driver error, too much right foot on out lap and ended up backwards into tyre wall/armco barrier and then for good measure turned upside down finishing on her roof.

Insurance tell me 22% of value is their std rate, with respect to value for money for prospective buyers you need to see spec list of bits on vxr29 plus list of all parts coming with it as part of the job lot. Not sure I agree with your valuation nev once all repaired, less than half what it was worth? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
So did you have an agreed value with the insurance co for around £25K

So what's wrong with that?Forgive me if im thick. So insurance co pay you £25k the value you put on it. You give them back £5500 and sell it on for more than £5500. You end up with more than the value you insured it for?? For once i feel sorry for insurance company! Forgive me if im completely wrong.
