Hi everybody,

the Milltek exhaust has been delivered, it comes from REAMSALVAGE (Ebay),

oem vauxhall dimensions, I'll put it on car number 4832 Europa Blue Opel Speedster Turbo,

does anybody know from which car it came off? Ream Salvage is in Weeton Village, Preston PR4 3NB not to far from Blackpool

I was looking for wrapping the exhaust until I found this : http://www.allaboutb...of-exhaust-wrap,

and also : http://www.vx220.org...ust-wrap/page-2

Hmm... tough one, should I stay or should I go?

I already had an upgrade 100% OEM and full serviced : engine power is now 196.7 Hp  @ 6043 rpm & 303.3 Nm @ 3105 (Metric figures)

The idea is a rolling road run now with the Bastuck on, one with the Milltek on & one without cat 1 & 2 and Bastuck,

thank you for any feedback

keep you posted and have a nice day

PS : can I change my profile name without creating a new account?

No need to wrap it if all your heatshields are still in place.

Bastuck doesn't seem to giving you much - standard is near enough 200bhp.

I would wrap the 'u' bend. The original exhaust 'u' bend had a heat shield for a reason.

I have been heat shield and wrap free for 12 years now with no problems.

12 years ?? !  how quickly it goes by.  13 years for me, 2003 sounds soooooooooo long ago but it feels like last month that I picked it up. And I had a NA for 6 months before I got the tubby.

Think its time I got something new?

Just thinking the same, but no, I'll stick to it, found nothing that handles as well -maybe my previous NA- and provides the same thrills, and a LHD Noble M12 is hard to find in Europe/USA

And getting something different that drives as well will cost a lot i guess? A Caterham?
