Here I go again... Please can people stop gluing the rubber strip with super glue, it makes like much harder when it comes to refurbishing it

Aliphatic resin should do nicely.

Really can't be bothered to post it to be honest. Lazy I know but it's not the easiest thing to package. How much could I sell it for?

So I was out on a Tinder date yesterday to the beach and this happened on the way there. Can see it has been glued before.

First fixing point glued, this was the hardest one as the two faces did mate, still strong enough to hold the light up though with ease.

This glue is essential VX220 stuff:

I know I've posted this elsewhere but I want to keep this thread up to date with my progress. So, refurbished door cards inner, outer and shoulder pad. Also new window winders, reshaped and cleaned the window rubbers and resealed the door rubbers. Despite the heavy rain on Wednesday I appear to have cured my leak. Next up is dash, stereo, steering wheel surround and binnacle. The seats and sill covers.

I've also replaced the crank sensor ecu loom plug to try and resolve starting issues and cutting out issues. So far it has started quickly from cold and hasn't cut out but I will leave it several cold starts before I decide I've fixed it as it was intermittent.

I was going to extend it and run the cable and alternative route but when I got to the sheaf of the existing wire I noticed it was heavily protected, I believe this is for RF interference as The Hood mentioned so I scraped the cable I made but still manage to run it in a slightly different location. Every trackday I've done it has started cutting out on the way home until I fiddled with the plug. Now need to do a track day to see if it has worked :)

I now have FM radio and good working DAB, genuinely works well from a windscreen aerial even in the country:

Very disappointing how the paint peeled off, I duck taped the hole for a week whilst my new aerial was on order, didn't expect to take some of the paint off.

Getting their with the interior, I should now turn my attention to the roof as the stitching is all coming undone:
