6000 miles in 6 months is good, that's more than some VX's travel in 6 years.

How many litres of oil topped up :D

I'm not sure to be honest, I've been changing the oil every 1000 miles or so and it seems to use less the more I change it. Most the use is on track days.

Phew, an oil change every 1000 miles is a bit excessive on your engine surely?

I'd hate to think how often you would change oil in a diesel.

Here's a fun fact for you; only fresh oil tends to damage engine seal material. This means the shorter your oil drain interval, the more damage you do to the seals. However don't let that stop you, you're directly contributing to my pension.

With some respect, it helps if you understand the difference between objective function and subjective visual impression, they are often at opposite ends of the scale in my experience.

What! You can never win, can even drink too much water. I figured changing the oil more regularly than needed couldn't hurt. To be fair, it sounds better after an oil change. Batman does the same.
