No budget as such.  So my options are open from that respect within reason of course!  

 

My priority is finding the perfect example.

Did you not see the virtually unused black tubby that went to auction recently? Think it went for around £24k! Other than that one not seen many black ones for sale lately.

Yeah I was keeping an eye on that particular black tubby that went to auction.  

 

I did plan to attend but after discovering the reserve and considering the lack of use i.e cost of recommissioning etc I decided it wasn't for me, lovely example though!

 

Ideally I'm after either standard tune or stage 2/3 running standard suspension and wheels (standard external appearance) 10 - 30k on the clock.  

 

The dream is to find a dry use only example, one owner lived in a garage its whole life - I know I could be in for a long wait!

 

But fingers crossed hopefully 2017 will be my year to get back into a VX.

Jonnyboy (Jon Seal Sports Cars) sounds like someone you might want to make contact with as that sort of spec / mileage / condition is what he specialises in. But you'll need to be prepared to pay the premium.

don't discount the stunning colour which is the dark petrol blue , looks almost black in some conditions

So did the winning bid fall through? I know someone who went and had a failed bid of around £22/23k from memory.

Nice colour however I have failed many times talking myself into considering other colours. Shame it would make a searching for one much easier!

That's interesting! - if you were able to ask me the same question in 2 years time and I was still searching for one I might be tempted

A vx has to be black (as do exige as and M140s )
