This scares me.
Gaffer makes it look so easy.
Bet he used to be a master leather worker.
But is just not saying.
I just know that if I try it I will fail.
But I really want to try
And I have a spare wheel.
But if I make a hash of it, I will just put the wheel in the back of the garage and quietly think about it and feel bad from time to time.

http://royalsteeringwheels.com are well priced
Think the guy is called Jack and he charges ~£100 on an exchange basis.
Not sure if that's available for a VX though.

Had mine done by Jak, £125, took about a week. i had Black alcantara with a red centre marker added. It wasn't exchanged over for a different wheel, it was definitely my one sent back to me. Great service and holding up very well so far!
Admire the patience Gaffer, epic work!!

Managed to find time for another section, same process as the top of the wheel. One section left now.

And a couple more photos as people seem to like my photos. They do speak more words than I care to type.
