I have to report back on the fully excellent service I received from Jon and Chris over the last couple of weeks. For those that don't know I killed my engine 2 weeks before the Zandvoort trip. I sourced an engine from Liz and Jon managed to squeeze me in so that I could make the long awaited trip. Chris performed the engine swap but really there was so much else he did I was embarrassed at the hours he put in (a 16 hour day the day before I collected the car as an example). They quoted a price and even though it went well over the hours they didn't try and charge me more. Even though today I spent another couple of hours there on the way down south enroute to Zandvoort so he could change the brake fluid and fix the knackered ABS wire so my speedo would work. Throughout they were friendly, professional, informative (sending me almost hourly pics of work in progress) and very accommodating. They are also only an hour from me just off the M1 so I finally have a specialist I trust almost locally. Couldn't recommend them more highly. The set up they have is brilliant - a huge space packed with loti and VXs. A true specialist run by owner enthusiasts. And half the price of southern equivalents. Can't ask for more than that.
