I've recently joined the world of tanks with this all metal 1 6th scale Armortek Panzer 4. The detail is so accurate on this all metal working model that owners are regularly invited to Bovington Tank Museum to give a demo.
It has realistic smoke that 'chuffs' on start up and then fan assisted when underway the sound is very loud and accurate plus the main gun recoils when fired. Its great fun although it weighs about 90 Kilos.

Yes I'll take some more, that one is a bit crappy. This is one when I first picked it up, since then I've bought some rust paint and started to 'weather' it too. It measures 3 foot by two foot wide.

I've just bought an excellent book on the Panzer 4 VS Sherman according to the book the Sherman had a Continental R975 C1 9 cylinder radial engine with 350 BHP which must have been amazing to hear.
I'm just about to modify mine to portray Operation Cobra where they fought the Sherman in Normandy in 1944. By all accounts they covered the tanks with bushes and foliage which I'm about to do.
I am also having made an animatronic unit fitted to the two main tank personnel. Check out this https://youtu.be/kFsQeqqZLAU

Indeed, I can't imagine what it must have been like inside them when they were running, hell I guess.

In case any tank fans are interested there is an event at the Tank Museum at Bovington next Saturday the 8th October called Tankmod.
I've got an invite from Armortek the people who make the 1 6th scale tanks to show my tank there. I've never been before but if you are a tank anorak there will be model tanks in all shapes and sizes from everywhere.
I am hoping mine will be ready for the event as I'm in the process of having two figures 'animated' as the above youtube link shows plus I'm attempting to portray a typical Panzer 4 at the time of Operation Cobra in Normandy around1944 where the tank crews uprooted local bushes to camouflage their tanks, I've made an attempt at some battle damage on the tank too.

Really stupid engine for a tank. Air cooled and a radial mounted vertically making the whole tank very tall.
There are better sounding radial engines.
No idea what world of tanks is. Is it a computer game?

I agree a strange choice for a claustrophobic sealed in chamber like a tank but I guess the Americans must have had a reason for it. It must have been unbearable noise wise too. World of Tanks is a computer game. I just went a bit off topic posting a picture of my 1/6th scale tank.
