Thinking the silver and black work well together, decided to colour the rear badges using plastidip. Never used it before, but the advice seemed to be lots of light layers... if it went wrong, I could always peel it off..

Again around 2016, some brand new seats came up for sale as old stock was being sold off....

So, a few days later they arrive - only issue is the colour...

So - leather dye kit ordered and work begins.

A light sanding of the seat, followed by several coats of dye sprayed on and then a sealing coat..

Mid process...

Impressed with the new seats, and realised the rest of the interior needed doing - so new door cards, door bolsters, handle trim and centre tunnel in black leather and silver stitching...

Unfortunately, I’ve lost a lot of the photos of the original install but after a few weeks hard work (and lots of emails to Vocky) she was up and running.

Decided to make the most of the upgrade, so added a shiny new manifold!!

Finally, to get the most out of the ITB upgrade I fitted stage 1 piper cams:

Added some heat protection around the new manifold:

Posted Image

You can see the brackets of nimbus protecting the hoses, and a whole nimbus sheet on the wall of the rear clam...

Early 2018...
Ever since I had the car, I noticed some clunking inverse large potholes... Out for a drive and started getting loud clunks when changing gear under hard acceleration.
Suspected engine mounts so had a look..

New mounts ready to go
