Does anyone here knows if it possible to remove the roll cage in the VX220 without cutting in any body panel?

I think the rear window, bulkhead is bonded to it

Just get a full roll cage. Doesn't sound like you'll be happy with anything else.

One of my mates has a defender with an external cage, proper cool looking thing. Hardly ever sees the road, as should be the way with defenders thumbsup

​I stole some pictures from Doctor Ed.

 

I keep hearing people say the VX bar is so weak and weaker then the S2 bar,

but when I look to the picures below I Think the VX bar looks stronger then the S2 bar except  for the stupid headrest cutouts.

But what if I weld in an extra piecein the headrest cutout? Then it should be stronger.

And yes, I Think I go for a full roll Cage with FIA padding.
