That was a good read. F40 looks even more homemade than a VX :)

I was amazed how little there was to it beneath the skin!

With huge slick tyres, i'd have thought it would have all twisted like crazy!... Clearly not

I can't even begin to imagine how much that project has cost.

Fair enough, you will be buying the base car cheaper than a concours Classiche example, but cheap F40's don't exist.

I bet that project and car are well over a mil.. If its a genuine f40 lm it could be double that.

Did anyone catch the "restoration" of the F40 on fast and loud? lost total faith in the show after watching them botch it to death.

She wasn't a genuine LM by Michelotto, privateer converted. Still wouldn't have been cheap!

I caught the Fast and Loud 'restoration'  thumbsdown

I went to a Ferrari race day at Silverstone a few years back and there was one racing with the 458s etc. A full on LM model. It was ahead most of the time until it was black flagged. Rapid car and balls of steel considering it's value and how hard it was being driven. Anyone that uses one properly instead of cossetting it in a collection is a hero considering what they're worth!
