And Renault seem to go for long stints. Will be interesting...
As a Swede I obviously hope for Marcus to finally score some points this year.
What are your opinions about him as a driver? Rubbish/Decent/Excellent? Deserves a better car? Better than Nasr?

I think its a shame that drivers like Erricson dont get to show their full potential due to having a rubbish car. I onow it will never be allowed for drivers to swap cars, but obviously the team know how good or bad the driver is, as data never lies. I just think its a shame, as drivers like Hulkenberg have never had the chance to show their full potential.
But if they were that good, and the data supported it then the vultures would be circling.

I think the first lap first corner Hamilton bottled it and just went straight on to escape being punted from behind. That first corner always produces incidents and he needed to win the race so could not afford an "issue".
Rosberg was similar I think in his clash with max, he just wanted to get out of the way and survive. I'm not saying it is right what they did, but I can fully understand why they did it. As any advantage was immediately killed by the VSC and SC then no harm done really I guess. However, if there had been no VSC/SC straight afterward i would have expected a 5 or 10 second penalty at their pitstops for it though.
I'm getting a bit tired at Max taking the hiss constantly and playing the "I'm only trying to race card". He knows exactly what he is doing and this time, even Horner, who defends him to the hilt, got straight on the radio and told him to give the place up. If he had done the sporting thing then Vettel and Ricci could have raced on and Ricci would have been on the podium in his own right in 3rd.
I'm sorry, but to me Max is looking more and more like an entitled spoilt brat.

There have been at least 3 cars on the gras for a shortcut, similar situations, and only 1 gets a penalty... The red car drivers whining about changing directions on the track have been colliding themselves many times this year and finally they get the penalty they have asked for. One of the red car drivers has a bad attitude swearing over the radio. And you think Max is fault bringing a bit of action into the game? Really?I think the first lap first corner Hamilton bottled it and just went straight on to escape being punted from behind. Not what I said at all.
Max knows exactly what he is doing. He knows he has been "pushing the envelope" and when he gets slapped for it he just whinges that he is "not allowed to race".
It's all getting a bit thin for me, a bit like the footballer who keeps going to the floor every time someone looks at him and then complains when he doesn't get the free kick / penalty.
I also don't think his driving was actually anything special in Mexico. but then we are all entitled to different pov's.
