When I bought a VXT recently a set of these wheels with Hankook wets came as part of the deal. Anyone know what they are ? They have the Japanese standards stamp on them but no manufacturers name visible when they have tyres on. I may advertise them for sale one day and would like to describe them sensibly.

Agreed! Had them on my car for a bit... took ages for me to find vauxhall centre caps for them! They are the same size as std. VX wheels. Took me a while to sell them at £400... I guess there are so many other wheel options these days.

Not that rare and yours are black so may make a small market even smaller.

a mint set of Lotus Europa wheels and decent tyres usually sell upto £400, being painted black probably doesn't make them worth any more, so a good guide price thumbsup

what size are the front tyres?

Fronts are 180/625/17 and the rears 200/625/17. the set are Hankook Ventus Z210.

By all accounts rims and tyres have completed 12 laps of Oulton Park. They do look like new to be fair.

Those sizes don't make sense, surely they are 175/55/17 and 225/45/17?

Race tyre sizes are numbered differently (I think).

The sizes I quoted are exactly as shown on the tyres. They are also marked 'Competition Use Only'  For some reason the racing fraternity chose to measure the profile in a different way to standard tyres. There are a number of members of the forum better qualified than me to explain the difference.

They do make sense. On a 225 45 17 the 45 is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width so 45% of 225. In the size above (200 625 17) 200 is the width 625 is the diameter of the tyre both in mm and 17 is the wheel size in inches

That makes sense, although you don't find those sizes on camskil.
