Hi All,

As promised see below the details of the Street Series Group Buy Nitron have asked us to coordinate.

Follow this Linky and then select NA or Turbo and the Nitron Street Series Product for more information, including Nitrons Current Retail Prices (£689+VAT)

You can search the forum for peoples opinion on the street series, but generally they are considered a good quality replacement for the standard Bilsteins.

No minimum numbers are required as such, but we can offer more discount with more numbers.

We have been told Nitron Street Series prices are going up by 9% on January 1st so Nitrons Retail Price at that point will be approx £751+VAT

Nitron have up to 15 sets up for grabs with current orders, we should be fine with at least 10 sets, if we move fast, we may be able to get the last 15 sets before the price increase...

Please note Nitron tell us delivery would be made mid to late December providing we get this organised in the next 2/3 weeks.

1 - 5 sets = £649       (Saving £50 on 2016 prices £102 on January prices)

6 - 10 sets = £624     (Saving £65 on 2016 prices £127 on January prices)

10 - 15 sets = £599   (Saving £90 on 2016 prices £152 on January prices)

Plus Delivery (UK not including Ireland) at £10 per set - Free delivery if sent to MBR for fitting.

If you wish to join the Group Buy then message us directly using the PM message facility on here with:

Full Name (not forum name)

Address

Phone number

VX220 Model (Turbo or NA)

If your car is left or right hand drive

Whether you want them delivered to MBR or your home address.

Also please state clearly at what price you will join the group buy, at 1-5 sets, 6-10 sets or the 10-15 sets price level etc...

We don't know what level of interest this group buy will generate so people will be added in the order that messages are received and then filtered by their pricing requirements.

NOTE: If you state you are happy at the 1-5 set £649 price level but we then achieve 6-10 or 11-15 sets then you (and everyone else) will get the cheaper price of either £624 or £599 (plus £10 delivery).

You can put your reply on the main body of this post as well if you wish, but PM us first as PM order will be used to sort any conflicts and identify who gets a set in the event the group buy is over subscribed.

Group buy is open until Monday 20th November - Payment in full to be made by Friday 24th November to secure your place.

Regards,

Matt.

Don't forget we are also offering Forum members 20% off labour and 10% off servicing and geometry set up's until end of January 2017 - Details can be found here...

Hi Guys,

Already up to 5 firmly interested parties with another 2 making enquiries so looking very good for 6-10 set price bracket already and still a while to go to get to 11-15 sets.

ChrisS1 - Spring rates are the same for NA/Turbo and are 350lb front and 450lb rear.

Just hit the 6 - 10 set price bracket of £624, so all the people in at 1 - 5 will also get the cheaper price as long as we maintain numbers from here on out..!

So if you PM'd us prior to this post at either the 1 - 5 or 6 - 10 price, you are on the list.

Still places available and if we get to 11 - 15 then everyone gets the cheapest price.

Full list of people who registered in time will go up once the group buy closes.

I have those spring rates on the gaz gold 2's I have, is the ride better? I feel like i might as well just have blocks of wood fitted instead, every bump is unbelievably harsh, no matter what the setting, Also do these still need the additional bracket to fit them? Thanks

If they are genuinely riding like blocks of wood no matter what the settings then I would say it's likely the adjusters are broken.

350/450 spring rates on a good damper and the right adjustment should not be anything like blocks of wood.

We have a heavily track focussed vx220 with 650/750 and it's still not like blocks of wood on the road.

They come with the brackets. It's why we need to know LHD or RHD as the abs bracket goes on the other side of the car.

In terms of comfort: The NSS with 350/450 springs can be set more comfy then the OEM Bilsteins till a good punch more tight. Combi with the 1" ARB is great on the b-roads. Stiff arb + soft settings NSS.
