I had a superhcarged mk1. Loved it. There was a mk1 with a big vauxhall lump in it for sale a little while ago

I thought the standard MX5 done thing was to put an SR20 in there?

 

Not sure a V6 suits an MX5.

My friend just spend nearly £5k on a BBR turbo conversion on his 2.0 ltr. I have never been a fan of MX5's but this was very impressive making 290hp and about the same torque. Felt as rapid as a stage 2 tubby... And some amazing gun shot style pops on the over run to scare old ladies 😊
