We have samples are on their way as we speak. Assuming these are OK, we’ll be looking at 6 weeks or so for the production run to land.

Just found this thread.  Would also be interested.  The ones on my car seem good for now but sure it's only a matter of time before the trims start to go nasty. 

 

I was looking at Elises before choosing to get a VX, and each I looked at had the nasty bubbling under the rubber. 

 

My other road worthy car ('03 XKR) suffered from it too.  Couldn't get the trims, at least without costing hundreds a side as it's a Jaaaaaaaag. Not just rubber with metal inside, but also some metal trim on the outside that was lifting as the interior oxidised away.  Thankfully a friend was selling his older knackered broken XKR, but with (somehow) perfect waist seals, so just swapped his good ones onto my car and my terrible ones to his.  Simple pull off and push on.  Same on a VX?  I think on the Lotus, can't remember which way round it is, but either S1 was a simple fit and S2 meant taking stuff apart to change the seal.  Or was it the other way round?
