Plenty of Travel Lodges around Milton Keynes or Towcester

This one is out of town so should be cheaper and is only 10 -15 mins from Silversotne.

My new ECU seems to have settled down now so hopefully the car will last the day. Thought I wasn't going to make it for a while.

They are cheap, give free food and drink, free photos - and used to have free tuition too I think. Yes they do run a lot of cars but I've never had any problems getting on track. I've used them at Snett Doni and Cadwell.

My only issue was with racing guys using them as test days and not being to bothered about track day rules on overtaking. I nearly hit one as he passed me on the wrong side with no warning.

Good day once the track had dried out. Nice turn out of VX too - 5 of us I think. George, Jason and a few others whose names I have forgotten. Someone who owns 2 VXR's ...now that's greedy! (edit: I see that's John Turner now - nice to meet you John)

Never seen so many red flags on one day though!  I don't think I came in from a session voluntarily all day. Some sessions only lasted 1 lap before there was another 'incident' :beat:

Sadly one red flag was me when the car konked out just after the pit lane entrance. At least it was time for lunch then.  B)

It was the usual Opentrack mix of interesting cars, interesting driving and well populated but OK generally. rallly
