I had a nightmare setting up opcom on win10 oddly it was perfect on my last laptop but didn't work on my new one.... so here's a guide to get it to work:

Just press the Windows key + X and then select “Command Prompt (Admin)”

Then enter the following commands (copy and paste, press enter after each line)

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

Close the Command Prompt window and restart your computer. Now you can install any unsigned drivers without problems.

IF THE SECOND COMMAND PROMPT FAILS WITH A MESSAGE IT'S PROTECTED IN THE BIOS AND CANNOT BE CHANGED THEN YOU MUST FOLLOW THIS VIDEO TO TURN OFF DRIVER SIGNING

This one only works one time, you have to do it each time you reboot when using the opcom

THEN CONTINUE AS BELOW

Start device manager

Now copy the folder "OP-COM 08-2010 EN" onto your desktop from the install CD and open it

I am truly astonished. Especially as you nearly had a melt down when the laptop refused to communicate with the ECU during my SC install :D Good work sir! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you Joe.

Finally managed to get opcom talking to the car.

Only thing that wont communicate is the ABS, any thoughts? I have a race logic TC unit, would that stop communication?

Op-Com doesn't talk to a VXR (or Lotus 4-channel) ABS ECU.

Fuking IT is shite isn't it, the whole world wants bloody computers + software to work simply and robustly, yet all the manufacturers do is make new versions of everything that simply doesn't work.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Just click in a  stock VX ABS module and search for your faults with Opcom. After that runs all right, replace back with Lotus/VXR module.

I thought it was agreed that physically both units were mechanically the same, just the firmware?
