Yep that was one of my preferred routes (Hoffmans do these).....put on hold for now until we see were we are after current mods plus BOT telling me its not that neccessary/better than what ive got.....not sure i,m swallowing that pill however....will see in future but like Martin im not intending to drastically modify this car as its kinda different kettle of fish to how i saw my vx.

Yeah id be a little sceptical also - by all accounts the stock SC is working fairly hard in standard trim, chucking a smaller pulley on I'm sure will yield some headline results but how long that remains consistent for with temps is another matter.

No directly by Lotus. I pushed my Lotus dealer who contacted Rimstock and was told the wheels were a Lotus exclusive and they could only be ordered by Lotus themselves. I called up to test this theory and was told a similar thing. Even if you've got a contact there and could order some it doesn't really help me. I negotiated mine to be included with the car so I've effectively already paid for them, the dealer is waiting for Lotus to supply them then i can collect.

 

Id imagine Lotus are banging off the top of their credit limit and only paying an amount to Rimstock to release goods required for the build list for a particular month. I still see this taking a while yet but its taking the p*ss now so im going to slowly wind up my level of cuntishness until i get it resolved... Lovely wheels though
