not 'motorsport' enough Tom :P    Lotus boys need to pay £120 (or whatever it is) for a purpose made bracket and they HAVE to cut their grill to be proper 'track heros'. :P

£60 from Seriously Lotus of you want to avoid the Lotus Tax! Did you buy a pre cut cup grill or just another standard one to cut? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome to the club  :)  Car looks fantastic - i saw it pop up at Targa recently and it really jumped out. The silver wheels IMO make the car. Saying that i might be selling my gloss black cast set shortly. I have some forged wheels on route so have the option of storing the cast ones in the house or not getting a divorce... ill probably keep the cast ones  :D

Didn't you wait 2 months to get those wheels in the first place? You must have more money then sense

No the forged wheels that are arriving at the same ones I've been waiting for all this time - got to love Lotus supply chain.... In the end after the wait was taking the p*ss, Stratton (who were excellent throughout) arranged for me to take the car on the cast wheels.

I would of be going mad at them!  I would of cancelled the order and moved back to a VX :P

Must say the Exige looks lovely in red, not normally a colour I'd go for but really suits it. Be interesting to hear how much more road presence the v6 has over vx if any.

As others have said red cars don't do it for me but that looks stunning! A vx is a very difficult car to move on from but that would do it for me when I grow up I reckon.

An added bonus of the red is that people usually make way easier when driving on the fast lane.

(Thinking it's a Ferrari, and they want to see the whole car)

Well at least that is my experience.

I think the DRLs are the most aggressive part of the car. They are really bright, so much so i forget to turn the main lights on quite often and even then given that the DRLs dip on main lights, there isn't really any difference.

I've noticed stuff getting out of the way far more quickly whilst in the 350 than my vx or s260. It's only 8cm wider but I think that along with the fairly aggressive looking DRLs mean it's a fairly imposing looking thing in a mirror... Or more likely it's just my 2bular which wakes the dead! :D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've forgotten to turn on headlights once or twice because of the DRLs! My garage is very tight so I've got a mirror I use to check my distance to the wall, I actually have to put the sidelights on when using it so it dips the DRLs so I can see in it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am not 60!  You old geezers get easily confused don't ya.

I am in fact 57, which is why I have felt the need to buy a more calm, sensible, mature, grown up car.

Christ. I'm going to have to keep hold of my car until next year at this rate, just to avoid flooding the market with Europa Blue SC'd VX's. Sutol has already beat me to flogging his spare engine. :beat:
