I'm going to use all those excuses when you come past me but maybe replace 'army' with 'rent' (at least that's what strugs told me).

he can't afford my prices now I've gone lotus I bet you still have more torque than me... my remap on the shed gave me 70% of the loti's torque

Turns out the 'Mercure Dartford' is the one at the gate.. that'll make the 0730 sign-in a bit easier to make!

Who will be doing this. I'm 5 minutes from Brands. I'm not up for doing the track day but wouldnt mind watching and seeing the cars. Are visitors welcome at this event?

Visitors welcome for free, just turn up and make your way to the paddock. As above, you can passenger for a small fee (although I don't have a passenger seat). Worth noting that we're not all going to be in vx's but will be happy to talk about them all day. Who's there and driving what: Captain Vimes - Red Caterham (with a 1.6 engine out of a Rover 216 - getting more excuses in..) Batman - Blue S1 Exige (with a Honda type R engine - VTEC yoooo) Zoobeef - red vx220 NA race car Strugs - red vx220 SC Anyone else coming along that I missed?

I've fitted the passenger seat to the drivers side so am short of a seat now otherwise I'd chuck it in.

Batman you running the same engine as a s2000? If so the 6-9k revs on cam sound amazing. Mine will stay safe in the car park fiveoclock

Na it's a k20 out of a ep3 Civic but managed to tweak it enough to get it to rev to 9k I will also happily drive your vxr on track
