Can't believe this - as you said, oh sh*t, a fire - so remove all your protective gear and bail.

Probably not a lot since every other poor soul has paid for it.

Is this the 2nd fire we're talking about, or a separate crash / incident?

I've kinda lost track!

Saw on Facebook that its going back to a road only car now as he has no luck with competition. Looking for a new chassis, doesnt need to be vin plated or road legal apparently. Eyes peeled for a for sale.

I know. Yet all the Facebook group people bow down before his highly tuned k-series and seek his opinion/approval. All the while the people that try and help/call him out on the bullshit are called bullies.

So he's going to ring the car by swapping his VIN plates over to a new chassis, nice.

Maybe I'm being overly suspicious, but here's someone selling a chassis, with no VIN, and someone asking about the VIN location.. https://classifieds....damaged-no-vin/

Its not exactly an easy exercise to ring a Lotus. Doing the VIN number on the chassis would be almost impossible to replicate accurately.

Just as per MSA recommendations. When your car is on fire don't stop at the Marshalls post, stay on track as long as you can, remove your gloves, helmet and belts before you barely pull off track. Finally get out and dick around at the front of your car before walking on a live circuit.

But he keeps saying 'not again' so he must've had plenty of practice?
