The parts for these are mostly ready except the cone as the supplier has let T7 down so these are a bit late. I think Adam will offer heaters from the middle of the month with plastic cones for those who can't wait. Now the sun is out I wanted to show what the heater blows like on cold. It's not the most scientific test, but the video below shows a bit of file paper attached to a window vent to give you an idea... https://youtu.be/cdydOrxXwWQ
that looks and sounds a lot more powerful than the one I've got on mine (fezzasus)

I'm happy to wait for the totally finished product now the weather is getting warmer.. Utterly committed to getting one as my old one is now removed!

Any update on this?
I thought you were all driving about with no roof and burnt foreheads so heaters would be the furthest thing from your mind, but Adam at T7 sent this small update....
"The valve didn't fit as well as I have liked and as much as we have tried jiggling it around I have decided to reposition it so the cable entry point is facing in the opposite direction, this will relieve the stress on the long hose between valve/core, this hose will be replaced with two components: a 90 degree rubber hose and a billet aluminium hose connector to bolt onto the heater core, this will also require a new Bowden cable. Our cable has seen better days anyway so this may be welcome to some owners.."
"I collected the anodised enclosure panels and the CNC machined brackets today, I can’t fully build one yet as I am still awaiting on the spun cones. Picture attached of the brackets. Currently still waiting for the following:
Bowden cables
Spun cones
Ducting
Should be good when finished, everything has its place and fits well down in the battery well. I think it’s a good idea to fit a new cable, turns out ours was equally as tight with or without a valve attached!”
I've had no indication this will affect the price but knocks things back a little when additional parts are added to the kit.

So will this mean a dashboard dismantle to fit a new cable?

Sounds like it but dashboard is only a 20 min job really.

Whats the chance in number 46 (aka me) receiving one on or before before Aug 27th?... The day before my 6000 mile road trip without a heater/blower!
Posted 30 July 2017 - 01:46 PM
They sound great though. Well done T7. Very excited! (as sad as that sounds)

Update, I'm told that apart from waiting on the hose clips and elbows to arrive the heaters are good to go.
Good-oh! It's starting to get chilly again..

Please add me to the list for one of these as my heater sucks lol :-(
