Try as I might i couldn't accurately measure for the shimms the way suggested in the T I S or the way David Hardwick did it as linked to earlier. So in the end I simply confirmed the width of the new diff across the bearing seats was the same as the old one and transferred across the original shims.
So far the car has done 200 road miles and a handling day at North Weald.
