Well done on your result elliot.. very impressive considering the company..
Cheers although it was a strange one really as it all came down to one run in the end as the track was drying so quickly. It didn't help that it was half dry half wet.
I was pissed off as I got beaten by a bloody mini GP, (racing driver excuse was that he had a re run after a red flag and the circuit was dryer) I was on completely the wrong line though.
Chilli was pissed off as he had buggered the back half of his lap.
Joe was really really pissed off as he had a slight off on his last run.
Still a great laugh though I would imagine every event would feel the same....
It was a real challenge in the wet though all the .org crew really enjoyed it (some didn't lol and went home) that said I would love to try it in the dry when its less of a lottery.
You should give it a try.

It is a expensive experience £40 odd per lap I only think its viable if you do the trackday before and make a weekend out of it imo
i do not think that is a bad price for the competition
i lost more by not going in to work

At £40 per lap for the sprint, it has to be worth getting a track day in the day before where possible otherwise youre wasting sprint laps diailing into the circuit. It is a expensive experience £40 odd per lap I only think its viable if you do the trackday before and make a weekend out of it imo

My race at Oulton works out at about £14 a lap.
Expensive business.

I may give one or two rounds a go next year when im happy my car is running well.
Yes indeed it makes a nice change from track days occasionally and its the closest I'm going to get to some competition at the moment.
I would love it if they had a round at either Brands, Silverstone, Donnington, Rockingham or Oulton where you can get a longer lap.... instead of 3 Sisters, Kendrew Barracks and Blyton Park.
I have absolutely no interest in those rounds whatsoever.

Looking at time attack they have some great rounds, is there any reason we wouldn't have a go at a few rounds there? Don't need a roll cage Pirelli Trofeo tyres are doable Don't need a race licence Does anyone know how it works?Looking at time attack they have some great rounds, is there any reason we wouldn't have a go at a few rounds there?
