cold tires one lap shoot out what could go wrong
Brakes are my problem, they are quite poor until I've stamped some heat into them. Usually after the second big slow down they come alive.

Do you reckon class B, subclass 2?
depends on how they value your aero and weight saving
but its possible B2 but im hoping to be in B2 also without aero and weight saving
i suppose its all down to the organisers

by thelooks of it you will be in B if you have E marked tires
if you go for slicks you would need a roll cage and be in class A

I am competing in the Javelin sprint series this year in my Exige s2 190. My mods are limited to Nitrons, Avon ZZR's (not really a mod given the price of A048's) and a 2bular backbox.
I entered in B3 as its described as 'Class B Trackday Production - Your average trackday vehicle, a medium level of performance enhancing parts can be fitted.'
Given the description above I took this as meaning no engine swaps, welded cages, cars making over double standard power etc however the rules are quite loose....The A3 class is dominated by EP3 Civics with quite heavy body modifications and full bolt on engine mods/diffs etc. A Honda Elise won the overall championship last year.
The class I run in is full of Civics with similar mods (worse drivers), Clios and various medium powered hot hatches, the odd elise etc all varying from minimal mods, like my car, to basically being full on race cars with welded cages, wide wheels, no interior with one seat etc.
The series is well run and there is a great camaraderie in the paddock however its only failing is the looseness of the regs.. This looseness is controlled somewhat by the organisers as if its deemed you have chosen the wrong category (car too heavily modified, slicks etc) you get moved up a class. The downside is that competitors can essentially choose whichever class they want... For example one guy turned up in a Ferrari 458 speciale and entered in C1, which is within the very loose ruling, but arguably not in the spirit of the competition for others within that class.

where as i want to win i also want some competition, from the rules on class i could quite easily jump in to B3, B2
but would rather have to work hard to get a win
im also looking forward to the paddock atmoshere,
i will take a look at last years times at anglesey and see how i would compare
think last year in perfect conditions i did a 1:17 something at anglesey on the corkscrew track

Roling full laps doing about a 1:46 ish dont no how this compares to the shorter standing start lap
but a b3 lap last year was a 1:40 r400 caterham
and a b2 was a 1:37
will see if i can find some you tube vids of the event from last year

very difficult to get a gauge for track day time against a sprint day time because of the standing start cold tires, traffic , different day conditions etc
but think i would do a 1:44-1:145 based on last years course maybe a bit quicker but being conservative
which would leave me 4th in B3
looks like i will just go and enjoy it, would be interested in hearing hughs and bens idea of what class i should enter

You wont be in B3 as the class structure has changed this year:
3 – Medium Power, NA Vehicles between 1700cc – 2000cc, Under 1595cc Turbo Vehicles
Being in a supercharged 2.2 you would be in either class A1 or B1
1 – High Power, Turbo or 2000cc+ 4WD vehicles, Extreme Performance 2WD Vehicle
Thankfully not in my class as you have twice the bhp

could i also be considered in subclass 2?? (B2 or A2)
based on 1595cc + says turbo but surely turbo/sc is the same lol
i wouldn't consider being extreme production car or i would have wings and down force etc and will be on Emarked tires (so not A)
