The 12" looks too big/overwhelming IMHO.

I'm still testing an 8" screen at the moment. The 8" IMO is the best size for the steering wheel and it fits in the binnacle opening nicely. I've got a new software version to fit in the next few days and Alec and I are on a trackway this Thursday so I'll try to remember to plug my camera in (for a change!!) to see what they are like to use on circuit.

Yep, there's pics of the screen in the plastic binnacle cover off the car on page 1 and of the screen fitting with no binnacle cover on page 9. I'm struggling to mount the screen with the original cover into the car because it needs a bit of squeezing into place and my cover has gone a bit cracked and fragile so I'd rather not risk breaking it and the lower position means I'd rather make another one.
