Could the PWM input for the temp gauge be configured to work at a different frequency?

I choose to average the analogue value from the pwm instead of measuring the duty cycle of the pwm This allows it to work with both analogue and pwm inputs , What would be reason to change the frequency ? More background to the question please :-)
Most aftermarket ECUs don't provide a 100hz PWM signal for the temperature gauge.
Don't need it , the LCD cluster has CAN for aftermarket Ecu's

The question of sat nav and rear view camera is bound to come up so I will answer it now Video input will be added for camera and will be display along with rpm , speed etc So not a screen switch but an embedded video And I will not be developing sat nav as it will be rubbish compared to your phones nav But when I was discussing this with pete-r he had a brilliant idea " can't you just cast your phone" So by casting the phones screen to the video input of the dash it can be embedded just like the rear view camera Job done .

Can Inlet temps be read and what about fuel tanks readings for the 48-60 litre tanks.

If it doesn't give too much away (PM if desired, or even tell me to feck off being nosey) are you using an embedded microprocessor to take the inputs and then feed them to an arm style device to run up the display, or straight into the arm with suitable input conditioning etc. I used to work with cluster and infotainment (urge hateful term) kit that ran the micro and arm setup, surprisingly decent. Had camera feeds and all sorts but we also had the same issue with nav in that it was poo since garmin et al wouldn't sell to anyone moving less than 500k units etc.

The first setup , micro for I/O , analogue and interrupts for accurate rpm, speed inputs fed into a dual core arm to show it all nicely on screen

splendid - can it take input from stuff like wideband 02 sensors?

Temps via analogue or CAN Size of the tank makes no difference, the analogue sender in the tank will have a range for full to Empty which is scaled to give the 100 to zero % A specific graphic screen can translate this to liters

Now your talking :-) , these have their own box to connect into the wideband sensor? So it's whatever output comes from the wideband controller ? Not 100% sure on that one I certainly cannot control a wideband sensor

I have Dutch in my test car , don't know anything about it yet If it has any data coming out of the ecu then I will see how to read it

Which logo ? :-) . Nobody will have lotus branding forced upon them :-) I did steal someone's image for the boot logo , found it on this forum The owner of the art will need to give permission to use it

Sadly it's all on k-line :( there isn't any CAN on the vx so you are a little limited on how much you can pull out of the ecru before you get misfires.... yep, back then if you read too much data it would screw the interrupts of the main software  this wasn't upjust a vx/gm issue, many others did too.
