As a few of you will know, I left the UK a few years ago and have been about a bit since, and settled in the US about a year ago after having no VX or any other fun car for 3 years. Once I moved to somewhere that had more space than a shoebox, it was time to get reacquainted with fast cars. So I went full American...

Still supporting UK industry though

Hey. It's been a while. Hope you're enjoying life Stateside.

Dodge Viper. Cool. How did you ever do with less than 10 cylinders? :D An amusing drive, I'll bet.

Thanks buddy! Yeah it's a bit more sledgehammer than the VX...did once find it wheelspinning at 80 in 2nd on a dusty road.

Yep, Feb 2014 I left! Flown by. Tanned!? Have you seen my complexion? I'm practically transparent.

Great purchase!

Yep, the sound is glorious :) . At ~14 UK MPG if I be careful, it actually ends up costing the same in petrol as my VX did pretty much!

Forgot to share the video of the engine noise although it doesn't show a lot. This was at 2 am the day I got it home...after it killed its own alternator and battery on the drive home from the seller.

Oi :D .

Yep, Gen II (1999) which basically looks like the original but they added bonnet vents and moved the exhaust exit to the back to stop burning people

Thanks :) . Yeah I'm excited to see how the C8 is going to turn out! Corvette's are ten a penny here so depreciation might make them affordable in a couple of years.

Yeah, despite the amount of work it's needed so far (mostly maintenance) I still don't regret my decision. Still looks cool and gets a lot of thumbs-ups from people.
