Looking for interest levels in new manufactured plastic sills, initially for the NA. I recently worked with a manufacturer to produce a similar type of part and achieved a really good result - so I'm pretty certain that I could make this happen fairly quickly.

I know that the majority of damaged parts are drivers side, so I was thinking of producing drivers side only. Trouble is that the nice new black plastic would be a completely different colour to the faded old parts, so I'll need to sell pairs.

This project would be all about volumes - the tooling cost is high, the parts are pretty cheap and item cost will depend on production batch quantity. Target will be £100 per pair plus delivery.

If there is enough interest, I will look into it in more detail, so I need a list...:

Not interested as I've got carbon fibre ones, but that seems like a very good price for a set!

How are you getting on with them out of interest? Don't they scratch up a lot from constantly sliding across them? My original drivers side is shagged and am very interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The aim is to get these to look as close to OEM as possible, but the design of the Turbo versions seems more useful than the NA. I've only looked in detail at NA - has anyone tried fitting tubby ones to an NA and, if so, what were the difficulties? I need a decent quantity per design to keep costs sensible.
