Quantities are looking feasible - but probably need more to hit the cost target. Product will look like OEM, but will try to fit Turbo and NA - so part may have a larger pocket, as per the Turbo version, but will not feature the hole for the tweeter. People can cut their own speaker holes if needed. Export is not a problem, I have good shipping facilities and rates.

Could also be interested in these. Do you have any picks of the type of plastic to be used? Anything more durable and scratch resistant would be great.

The plastic used in the door opening area of modern cars seem durable.

Turbo version is two pieces, the part with the pocket are still available at Regelin from the lotus part clearance, maybe it's just a matter of cutting of the NA pocket to get the rear piece of the turbo sill.

 

I'd be interested in the rear parts for turbo if fairly well matched with oem front parts.

Can someone please take a picture of a Turbo sill, showing the area where the front part (10 in the diagram above) joins the main sill (1)?

Hi, I think they are attached  together with double sided tape from the factory. The reason for the two piece design is that it can't be fitted otherwise due to the pocket.

A quick update - it looks as though the original manufacturing process was to produce everything as NA version, then trim the part back and add the front section for the Turbo. I'm looking at costs for doing the same thing - so pricing will be configured as:

• NA (full version)
• NA (trimmed to back section of Turbo version)
• Turbo pocket section.
