Folks,

I'd appreciate your assistance please.

Any leads on where to get rear brake calipers properly refurbished?

My passenger side one appears to have seized at the handbrake mechanism....

Alternatively if anyone has either a new or fully functioning used one, then I'd be happy to progress this.

Thanks all!

Do a search for this, they may not be refurbishable - check you can get the screw out first - but be careful!

I have the same issue and have read lots of things, basically if you can't get the grub screw out of the casing then you can't do a full refurb. The grub screw is prone to snapping under light pressure and is typically rusted solid.

Here is just one thread on it http://www.vx220.org...caliper-refurb/

Doing my reconditioned Calipers for £100 with old exchange plus £140 if you want them a different colour They will be £180 if no exchange Or £220 with a colour They also have grub screw mod So you will not be stuck with a grub screw you can not remove

Thanks for feedback Chris After a few months of trying different ideas of removing and changing grub screw set up I have found away of doing it Although the handbrake mech stays the same the retaining grub screw has changed thus making them far more serviceable in the future Plus with the ever rising price of new Plus the limited stock I thought why not change this factor and keep or Loves on the road with a cheaper price for the same standard of Caliper with all serviceable parts replaced Plus giving people a choice of some colour As soon as I get more stock of old Calipers I will be able todo a direct swop for your old Although I try my best between work to have a quick turn around Normally it's a received on and Monday returned on a Friday so no weekend driving is lost

Are these prices for 1, 2 or 4 calipers? :)
