I thought I would share some photos with you. JSC had an open day to raise some money for Macmillan and it was very well attended.

JSC are car restorers down near Portsmouth and have a very good reputation for restoring any cars. They do however specialise in the older exotic. If they can't get a part they will make it. The engine on display in the photos is for an Alfa Romeo 8C and was completely made by them. It seems that owners would prefer to take the old original engine out and replace it with a copy. A copy would cost you £150k but when the original car is worth well into the millions it's a no brainer to do this. On the premises at the time Jim said he had in excess of £15m worth of cars, I've just shown a few that were on display. Looking at the quality of the workmanship I was surprised when Jim said their hourly rate was only £54.
