Afternoon all,

Have searched this code and I can see it relates to post cat lambda sensor.

What is the best way of troubleshooting this?  I have cleared the error with op-com for now to see if it returns.  Is it easiest to swap the sensor out in the first instance?

Car is Stg 2 SC, pre cat removed and full Miltek

Cheers
Paul

Probably a broken wire = new sensor. Does anyone know if there is a cheater available, seem to remember there was talk of one.

I've still got a load of PCB's for the cheater I made, and a few resistors riveted to Ali heat sinks etc.

I dont have the time to do much with it though

Had this on my old MR2, made no difference to the running of the car, I bought a new sensor but you can wire in a cheater I think.

Hi,

I have actually the same error-problem but it was only after changing to a new cloned ECU with obd-tuner.

After changing  the second  lambda through a new one the error still reappear.

Think the error comes in the warming up phase. Also SC stage 2, no pre cat and 200 cpi sportscat.

Do you have also the obd-tuner Software?

This is interesting as I recently switched to a new ECU with OBD Tuner when I had the SC conversion done.  The error appeared around 500 miles after moving to the dutch software so I cant say for sure if it is a result of that or a faulty sensor.  My setup is identical to yours though which ties in.

Have you contacted Peter yet regarding this?

Yes. And I send him a log file. The sensor is o.K. and I should delete the error again. Than I will create a new log direct after cold start.

So in the moment no idea.

Before spending a load on a new lambda try a bottle of Wynns lambda and cat cleaner. Did the trick for me

Ok great , please keep this thread updated with your findings if you can please.

I am going to try and test the sensor at the weekend.

Today and yesterday I am driving over 1h through the area and… no pid-error. Also obd-tuner says now that the lambda-test is O.K.

So I think the problem was the second lambda.  Before I changed the lamda I start the engine to jack up the speedy and I don’t check the errors again before I test the new one.
