Curious....calipers back and fully working?

Not yet. Spoke to them Friday and they have 'found the problem' but chipped the paint in the process and they will be 'sent out Monday'.

Update.
It's Wednesday and the callipers are still not with the garage. Have been told they will be with the garage 'this week' Updates will follow!

Its not much consilation, but the photos from your twitter from the first post look fantastic!

Agreed. it's been a bit of a frustration as I don't believe they are doing a bad job and they have identified and rectified the problem. I just feel they ahem over promised and under delivered in terms of getting things done and with my car ready for its newly refurbed wheels and the summer season it's just taking too long.

UPDATE.
Have just spoken to them and been told they 'should be shipped today and will be with the garage tomorrow morning.' I did ask whether this was like a Spanish 'manyana' as tomorrow never comes and was told Parcelflorce only guarantee 95% delivery next day.
Sadly, despite what I said at the start of this thread - when the news was more positive - I feel severely let down by them now and definitely would not use them again regardless of the quality of their work. Comms have been poor and three weeks to deal with a 'rush' job is simply not good enough.
Far too many excuses and fob offs.

I've been watching this with some interest, as whilst the rear calipers on Vix are good (VX220JAY did them), I also have another pair in the garage which I have been considering getting done 'just in case'.
BCS were an option, although I do have the luxury of not being time constrained.
Other options for refurb??

Hi James,
thanks for all the feedback. My rear calipers were delivered to BCS on Thurs for a full re-furb. I will update this thread as progress is made...

As I'm just back from BG Developments who would not take them, I'm interested!

Hi guys,
The latest update from BCS to me is that one of my calipers (driver's side) is shagged and can't be refurbished which is a bummer. The handbrake part of the caliper is seized apparently. Otherwise waiting for the other one to be worked on and returned. No indication as to timing yet...

I asked Pro-calipers.co.uk who advertise as being Brembo caliper refurbishment specialist whether they would complete.
The response was "..nightmare to work with and as of this I'll pass on them."
Who can actually refurb these with reliable efficiency????

Hi Foxy,
I will happily send the knackered one to you when I get it back. I am buying a new caliper and don't have the skill, tools or patience to do anything with it. I was away for a week or so and only managed to pay BCS today, so they will start work on the other caliper now. They have agreed to send both back to me at the end of this process so I'll drop you a message then...
Kind regards
Roy

Mine have been accepted by a local business. I'll wait until they're back to report further.
