9. Yep, I'm keen (inc fitting at whatever central location). Though it really has to work as I am tired of paying for sub-standard motoring parts/services. What's the guarantee on it actually working effectively?

Has this system ever been fitted to a VX220 (or other 56.1mm Vauxhall ABS hub'ed car)? I ask, as there's often an issue with signal strength and an necessity to add an in line capacitor to smooth it out. ie Does the installer know about this possible issue and can overcome it on a VX220?

Been installed on a speedster according to the website, not sure if the hub sizes are the same

Oops, i meant 65.1mm.

There is a 30 day free return i offer to everyone - if you are unhappy within 30 days you can send it back and i return the money. Of course you lose the shipping both ways and in case we do an install, i won't be able to return install fee.

Because of how long it takes to install, i think 4 cars a day , maybe 5 a day is maximum i can do (10-12 hrs of work). I think we can agree on how we do the install with Jon via email.

Also you will have to buy all required wiring :

* for injectors i use 8 wire harness used for trailers 8 * 0.75mm

* for and for ABS sensors STP cat 5e cable (stranded, as solid easily brakes when bent),

* for clutch , led and pot standard 2 wire harness  2 * 0.5mm , but in case pot and led is mounted close to each other, then 4 * 0.5mm harness is better.

* a lot of solder and solder paste , thermoshields and tapes i can bring with me, as it does not weight that much.

As for shipping and paying details i think we will work that out via email with Jon.

One fitting location would be somewhere close to London - ideally someones workshop or some remote place where 5 cars won't be a problem for the neighbours and for sure it has to be some weekend with an optional friday or monday , so there is 1 day of slack.

Btw - i am not sure about clutch signal - can you provide proven VX220 schematics where we can trace the clutch signal to ECU ?

So VX220 does not have any clutch switch ? Clutch signal is not required , but useful for drag racing (flat shifts). I was using RaceTCS for 2 years without clutch switch but found out that my crappy gearbox likes it better with flat shifts :).

Ok cool, that all sounds reasonable.

Don't know final locations but as a northern location Heswall, Wirral, I'm willing to donate my place, we could take 5 cars and have a triple garage if weather is poor.

Thank you Swast4,

That’s a kind offer. I have a single garage here in Newark, Notts that everyone is welcome to use also. I also have a free tea and coffee facility, even free ice cream - but that’s a whole new story.....

Let’s wait to see everyone’s post codes and we will do our best to find a solution.

I do have another possible idea but will wait to see everyone’s response before proposing.

Still open to more than 10? If so I'm interested dependant on final location of fitting.

Stupid question. Can anyone upload a photo of the controller? I couldn't find it on the website. I'm interested in understanding how big this thing is.

Cheers

Sorry, but another question, if the system senses front abs then I'm assuming running different diameter wheels on the front will throw the system? If so can it be turned off?
