after waiting ages for some M12 fittings am now able to offer full length lines that run in the sills

from the abs unit to the rear brake line connects.

 

the line is covered in heat sleeve as per Hel lines specification for the sill section

and come unsleeved on from where front connection to abs unit

lines are in black but can be made to order in colour

 

price per set is £130 dilivered (same price as hel but with added length for free)

 

also available is abs to front lines and the usal four brake lines message if you have any questions

I bought and fitted a set of these. My brake line had corroded where water gets into the sill from the turbo ear. Good quality product as expected from Hel. Once Robin had the correct size fittings communication and delivery was quick and painless. Worth doing for piece of mind or if your lines have failed. The cars are getting to an age now where corroded brake lines will become a common issue.

Important to fix the hyrdaulic lines down as much as possible with various fittings (like o-clips etc). Otherwise when you stomp on the brakes the lines will try to straighten, and if not fixed to the car well this will lead to a "soggy" initial bite to the brakes.

How do you fix them in the sill, run them inside something else?

i sugest to run them in electric conduite so wont move about is easy enough to do.

I'm in the process of fitting a set..

What have people done for the routing of the hose through the dash to abs unit?

The original route looks near impossible to replicate 100%.

you have to drill a bigger hole to feed it through dash area.
