Hi,

 

Have bought a hard top from a friend of mine but the fitting kit has been misplaced. Anyone can tell me where I could get these bits please/

The fitting kit is a laminated sheet with a how-to and an allen key.

Can you be more specific on what you are missing?

Hi, thank you for your message. The hard top has four brackets attached to it, but there is nothing with them to fit it to the car.

You mean you’re missing the Allen bolts, but you’ve got the brackets?

Could you get some pictures of the problem area, as there could be a difference between oem and aftermarket hardtops.

I have a couple of photos here. The brackets had not been painted hence a little surface rust has set in. As you can see form the images the pieces attached to the top are there, just need cleaning and painting. However the parts that should fit to the car are not there. Those are what I need.

Your help would be much appreciated.

That's a very very ancient version of our ones but I'm afraid I dont have any fixings for these now.

Update. In case anyone is interested, my good friend suggested the Lotus parts and sure enough they do all the fitting kits including the bolts and washers. So, if anyone else is looking contact your Lotus dealer.
