if the trackrod vertical mounting point was 10% closer to the ball joint , then this would give same effect as a quick rack or would the bump steer be exagerated in a non linear way?

This isn't something we will be offering, mainly because I don't really see the need of a quicker rack.

Whats the deal with the long collets? Are they tapered? They look it but How far do they go into the arm?

Having them as they are now are you not just putting unnessecary strain on the joint between the bearing and arm? Considering you are constantly putting lateral forces onto that part directly, if you cant mount them lower (closer to the arm) would it not of been more sensible to make a more substansial spacer/collet in order to spread the load?

Is it possible to post more detailed pics where the tre or rose joint bolts into the arm unit.?

No real difference to the standard setup in terms of strength.

Going back to bump steer adjustment for non rose joint version...

By what amount would it be possible to LOWER the track rod end mounting point (to the steering arm) over standard with these? 5mm/10mm/15mm?

thanks

I thought about it too...
Honestly 5 mm is a very big maximum ...
You need to keep enough material for the location of the tapered end of the joint and for stress resistance of the lever arm

Hi Matt,

Not to be pushy, apologies if it seems that way. If anyone does want the arms, 8 pairs left, they need to act now as we can't have them sitting in our workshop any longer, thanks
