I need a 3.3m wide garage door so can anyone recommend a supplier in the Hertfordshire / Essex area, google gives plenty of answers but I’ve no idea who’s any good.

While I’m at it, does anyone have any advice on the advantages and disadvantages of the different types, up and over, sectional and roller. I’m leaning towards roller at the moment.

If you want a fully sealed door, roller is definitely the best option although of course less attractive externally. As long as the external view wasn't an issue certainly would go for an insulated roller door for seal and security.

I used the following https://www.garador.co.uk/

I converted our garage back to a garage last year and when for the Steel Guardian Range, up and over.  NOTE: this door can only be open from the outside.

Fitted it myself, very easy.

I did look at other options and types. But thought this one had less parts to fail.
