Hi,

My name is Fred, come from France and I bought a "speedster" last October...

I wanted this car since 2003 (a turbo one) but every time, something goes wrong.... This time it's ok and even if it is not a turbo, i am in the world of light is right

So, it has 44000 km, a black one with hard top sell in Germany, I am the 3rd hand.

I have also some Peugeot in the garage (106 rallye, xsi and 205)...

Some pictures will come later ^^

The speedster is not on the road these times, got some issues with the oil support (problem known by all users of the NA...) Gaskets are on their way but I don't have the tool....

Since october, I have bought new toe links and 2 dunlop sportMaxx RT2... and for the future maybe I will buy 4 Team dynamics and 4 Nitron to have a better feeling first and in the future why not more power...

 

300V oil is awaiting... Just received my gaskets for the sandwich plate from England ! If you know where i can find a tool for the oil support (and sandwich plate) it will help me ^^

  j utilise ma VX toute l annee depuis maintenant 17 annee...une petite bombe N/A monter sur ITB,S ....

Only just spotted your post but a line to say hello as I also live in France but in the Aude.  Not only that but I supply gaskets for the sandwich plate and O rings for the filter cap and have now supplied more than 100 pairs of gaskets with no failures.  My customers include Jon Seal, Q Mech and Phoenix Motorsport and I also supply customers in Spain, Switzerland, Slovenia and Australia as well as France and the UK.  My gaskets are a three layer construction of graphite on a central core of stainless mesh which makes them a little more rigid and helps to stop creep when tightening.  I think the O ring in your photo is for a Zafira and will be too big for the VX setup.  If you need any in the future do let me know and if you are coming down this way come and see us, it's always good to meet others with the same affliction!

Hello Madmitch,

Thank you for your proposal... you are right, when i put the o ring, i have seen that it not fit!

I have found another one, but in the future i will contact you if i need ! (The o ring is a bit difficult to found....). I hope the sandwich plate will not failed on the next oil change! See it in ten months !

No news on my N/A... just ride it, without roof ^^ it’s a pleasure !... and thinkin on car parts...

Just receive my OEM turbo ears  ... but have to wait to paint them because I want to have the rear turbo spoiler too...

 

Not easy to find unfortunately ! (as compomotive MO5 ^^). I will wait for a long time before it will be as I want... but one day...

Some news for my speedster...

 

As Compomotive are too hard to find and because I don't want to wait so long, I have ordered 4 team dynamics and in early september 4 "shaft racing" shocks will be specially produced so it will be mine at the end of october.

 

Can't wait !!
