Following my post on Facebook about the NEW Carbon Fibre Parts, I'm pleased to share the details including costs.
 
Material Specs:
Carbon plate CFK
2.8 mm thick
Inner layers Carbon unidirectional prepreg 0 ° / 90 °
Cover layers tissue prepreg
Matt surface on both sides
temperature resistant up to approx. 110 ° C
60% fiber volume percentage
pressed on a 600 ton press
 
Finished in either Gloss or Matt lacquer.
 
Prices:
Indicator Stalks (priced as a pair) £75 + £5 P&P
Window Winders (priced as a pair) £75 + £5 P&P
Header Tank Cover £45 + £5 P&P
Dash Plates £120 + £8 P&P
 
Postage & packing costs are for UK Mainland, I am able to post outside of UK however please contact me for delivery costs. I will also combine postage and packaging costs if buying multiple items.
 
These are the lowest prices I am able to get and assumes a minimum order quantity of 5 items to validate the group buy (combined not individual).
 
Lead Times:
These parts are manufactured in Germany and the lead times are roughly 5-6 weeks from when I place the order, however it does depend on the size of the order!
 
Since my Facebook post I have been contacted by a number of owners about other parts. I'm currently just focusing on these parts for now and see how it goes. However, I'm open to developing more if there is sufficient demand and interest. We're currently working on a fuel filler cap and surround so will keep you posted!
 
How do I order?
We love a list, simply get your username down in true .org fashion. Let me know the parts you're after and finish (gloss/matt).
 
Once we have hit the minimum order of 5, I will contact you via PM and confirm your order and total amount payable together with payment instructions. Payment by Paypal (as a gift, unless you cover the fees) or bacs, please use your .org username as the payment reference.
 
Once payment has been made/cleared I will place the order and keep you posted on progress via this group buy page.
 
The deadline for the first order is Monday 15th April (assuming we hit 5). I am happy to place another order after that if/when we have sufficient demand, plus I'd rather stagger so that I'm not inundated and asking you guys to wait so long.

Quick question on the tank cover, how is it secured on, does it literally sit on top of the tank, any clips etc?

I'd imagine you unscrew the cap, place the cover over the tank and screw the cap back on (that's how mine works anyway)

Thanks, yes thats what I meant, that there would be no clips holding it down it is literally sitting on top of the tank.

Correct, simply unscrew header tank cap and place on top then screw header tank cap back on.

 

Alternatively you can use double sided tape as per Siztenboots suggestions

I love them, really do, would be great to have cf storks to go with the binnicle & surround but the price of the winders and stalks seem a bit steep.
